“Dash” for Donuts and Help Raise Funds for Live Like Lou Foundation

Sunday, October 2 at 10:00am

Run a mile, eat donuts, run a mile is the plan for this Sunday’s Donut Dash in Schenley Plaza. Start off by “dashing” around Schenley Plaza for one leg, then stopping at Schenley Park to eat a half dozen donuts (or as many as you like), before returning to the course for another mile. There will be also be a Donut Eating Contest, music and more to find after the Dash.

After the success of last year, the Donut Dash is hoping to reach their goal of raising $150,000 for the Live Like Lou Foundation, dedicated to finding a cure for ALS. With their creative and fun way to raise funds, the Donut Dash’s overall goal is to raise $500,000 for Live Like Lou, the research center that has pledged to raise $2.5 million over five years. Named after baseball legend Lou Gehring, Live Like Lou works to provide care and comfort for ALS families, support scientific research and raise funds for finding a cure.
